Well it has been almost 3 weeks since we have been back in the US, and more specifically back in Phoenix. The job search is going well all things considered I have been getting a lot of calls from Companies and Recruiters. But things are not moving too quickly, I guess it has a lot to do with all the economic uncertainty right now. luckily we are OK for now, but would really like to secure something soon as I hate not working.

At the moment I am waiting for news on a couple of positions I have interviewed for and am also waiting for interviews for a couple of other positions hopefully next week some more news.

well it has been almost 2 weeks with the iPhone, and I have to say I really am loving it, I recently purchased a hard cover for it, just to protect it, because as much as I hate to admit it I am a bit of a klutz and usually manage to drop my phone at some point in time as much as I try to avoid it.

well with that said I am starting to get familiar with the apps on the iPhone and how to use them to get the most out of them. So far I have installed the usual Facebook and twitter, and a few others but I am a little disappointed that many of them only work in the US. Given that I am in the UK that doesn’t help me much…

I am also a little disappointed with the GPS application, I would have imagined that they would have a turn by turn GPS app available, have not found one so far, and from the research I have done on the net seems that they say the GPS antenna is not strong enough to handle it, which surprises me as other phones, especially the windows mobile devices you can purchase a version of the tomtom software and use it on them as well on the Nokia devices.

Well I will keep looking and keep you posted with any news I find on the iPhone and any new Apps.
